It was the year 2015 in Telluride, Colorado. The weekend before Christmas, and I was working at the Telluride mountain as a snowboard ski patroller. It was 1:30 after a huge storm and there was a TON of fresh powder and I remember just loving, it. The weather was cold but the sun was out and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I hop on a lift on one of the shortest waits of the season, not that it matters since I'm using my patroller’s privilege to not wait in lift lines. And I found myself on a long, slow, peaceful, and beautiful trip with the most gorgeous girl I had ever seen. I struck up a conversation and I found out that she went to my university and that we had a lot more in common than I thought. I spent the rest of the day showing her the secret lines and the unpatrolled areas that are the best. I eventually took her out to dinner. As we walked to her dorm I started to realize that there may be girlfriend material here. As I say good night she kissed me, and in that moment I realized that Elise Ridge were made for each other.
10 years later I found myself at the rock church, just across the street from where I graduated high school and jr. high, standing with Miles McPherson and Elise… COUREY!
4 years later we had Jenny and Tristan and 2 y3srs ago we had Jill. Now Jen and Tris are 14 and Jill is 2. We are definitely one big happy family.
How you may ask do I sustain this crazy family? w/ Elise’s law firm that I co-own and my private detective service allows me to travel but still see my famly for extended periods of time. Overall my life is great!
